Presence-Centered Youth Ministry Conference with
Mike King - October 18th, 2008
The Presence-Centered Youth Ministry Conference will be held at Lancaster Bible College from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., in the Good Shepherd Chapel. The keynote speaker for the day is Mike King, author of Presence-Centered Youth Ministry. Mike is also Director of Youth Front & Sonlife Ministries. This experience is designed for Pastors of Student Ministries and their leadership teams to use as an equipping day. The cost for this event is $25 per person before October 3rd, and $35 per person after the deadline. LBC students may attend for $10. To register click here or call (717) 560-8200 and simply ask to register for the conference. Mid day there will be a seminar slot with multiple options. The following are our six seminar options;

Keynote Speaker - Mike King
Mike King serves as president of YouthFront, an organization creating environments for youth to experience spiritual transformation, and providing support to churches and youth workers. Mike also serves on the pastoral staff of Jacob's Well Church in Kansas City, Missouri, and is a frequent speaker at conferences and conventions. He and his wife, Vicki, have two sons, a daughter and two daughters-in-law

Chris serves as Chief Ministry Officer and the President of the Sonlife Division of YouthFront. Chris is the author of the book A New Kind of Youth Ministry and has written numerous articles for various publications, has developed several youth worker leadership-training tools and is a frequent speaker at conferences, retreats, and training events around the globe. Chris has been involved in youth ministry for nearly thirteen years in large and small churches. He is married to Gina and has three children: Megan, Drew, & Luke. He resides near Kansas City |
