Project Renovation  - Personal Discipleship

Our Vision - "Creating a passion for spiritual formation in the lives of future and present Student Ministry leaders."

Our Distinctives - Missional – Relational – Transformational

The Project is focused on investing in local Student Ministry Leaders through relational servant led interaction in a one on one setting.  Jesus modeled discipleship with the twelve.  He had an even closer relationship with the three.  Throughout His three years of public ministry He modeled and then asked those who followed to imitate.  It is our conclusion that a multidirectional mentoring process is needed for the accountability and healthiness of the Student Ministry Leader.  The following is a diagram visualizing multidirectional mentorship.

Downward Mentoring

One way in which the Project accomplishes this mentorship is through our "Mentoring Shepherds". Mentoring Shepherds are local student ministry leaders who have committed to being in relationship with two to three other student ministry leaders for the purpose of life on life mentorship.  These relationships are formed with a desire to create healthiness in the greater body of Christ throughout the Central Pennsylvania area.  Our current "Mentoring Shepherds" are:

Jason Mitchell - Lancaster County Bible Church
Andy "Sam" Gordley - Youth Link
Jerry Higley - Lebanon Valley Youth For Christ
