Project Director - Rick Rhoads

 

 

Rick is an Associate Professor in the Department of Church & Ministry Leadership at Lancaster Bible College.  Over the past 15 years he has served in various Student Ministry roles at Lebanon Valley Youth for Christ, Lancaster County Bible Church, Calvary Bible Church, and Riverbend Community Church.  During this time Rick has also served missionally in the field of MRI.  He has a passion for the hurting, and the disenfranchised. 

Just over four years ago, Rick joined the faculty at Lancaster Bible College.  Prior to coming on staff at LBC Rick received an Associate in Arts degree in Radiology from Harrisburg Area Community College, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Bible from Lancaster Bible College, and a Master of Arts in Leadership for Evangelism & Discipleship from Columbia Biblical Seminary.

Mentoring Shepherd - Jerry Higley

Since 1978 Jerry has been the Executive Director of Lebanon Valley Youth For Christ.  He graduated from Lancaster Bible College and received an M.A. from Talbot Theological Seminary in La Mirada, California.  Jerry and his wife Karen have three daughters, including five grandchildren.  Clearly, Jerry is the dinosaur of our team!  The Higley's reside in Lebanon, PA.  For further information you can e-mail Jerry at jerry@lvyfc.com or check out his ministry at lvyfc.com.

 

Andy and his wife Tina currently serve as Area Missionaries with American Missionary Fellowship.  He currently oversees a disciple making ministry called "Youth Link" which specifically targets public school students, as well as doing leadership training for churches and other organizations.  Andy has been involved in Youth Ministry in Lancaster County since 1992.

Andy grew up on the mission field in the countries of Costa Rica and Panama.  Tina and Andy were married in October of 2000 and now have two wonderful boys.  Elijah was born in 2003 and Brayden joined them in 2005.  Since the spring of 2007, Andy and Tina have also been doing respite foster care.  For further information you can e-mail Andy at gordosam@juno.com or check out his ministry at americanmissionary.org.

 

Mentoring Shepherd - Jason Mitchell

  

 

Jason is the Middle School Pastor at Lancaster County Bible Church.  He received his  Bachelor of Science in Youth Ministry from Toccoa Falls College and his Master of Divinity from Biblical Theological Seminary.  He loves reading, music, friends, and talking with his wife Jenny and daughter Sienna.  He and Jenny currently live in Manheim, PA.  For further information you can e-mail Jason at JasonMitchell@lcbcmail.com or check out his ministry at lcbcchurch.com.
